ServiceNow Developer (US Citizens or GC Holders)

Job Description :

The ServiceNow Developer will assist in solutioning and developing for the ServiceNow platform including new Flexential products.

This individual will be responsible for developing integrations with other platforms and building custom ServiceNow solutions for Flexential and its partners.

A typical day will include meeting with business leaders, gathering requirements, developing technical solutions, and handling escalated platform related incidents.

This position will assist in service mapping, communicating, and launching new platform areas for the Flexential organization. Other duties as assigned.

This role will focus on providing solutions for a variety of business segments and will need to frequently learn new environments.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Mentor and Train ServiceNow Administrators, assist as needed.
• Develop solutions for planned projects / products. Analyze level of effort and implementation time frame estimates.
• Advise and recommend ServiceNow features to be implemented for requested business requirements.
• Consult with key leaders on implementing a unified feature set to reduce support costs.
• Respond to Incidents and Resolve.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for platform support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or other related degree
• 2-3 years of ServiceNow platform experience including development and administration
• Platform upgrades and code migration via update sets
• Experience launching the ServiceNow platform within an established organization
• Knowledge with web architecture (JSON, XML, RESTful web services)
• Experience with scripting platforms (JavaScript, PowerShell)
• Experience with building ServiceNow platform integrations with internal / external systems
• Ability to lead technical design and implementation of a ServiceNow projects
• Knowledge of Agile framework and experience in measuring level of effort with enhancements, defects, and stories
• Experience with ServiceNow service mapping to organization business needs
• Experience with ITSM, CSM, ITBM, GRC, SecOps, CMDB, and Service Catalog platform areas.
• Experience building automation workflows
• Experience building business rules, client scripts, and notifications
• Experience implementing LDAP, SSO, user / group / role
• Experience with Debugging and Troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Drive efficiency and platform manageability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced developer who will advise peers
• Experience with Project Management / Resource Management
• Experience consulting with business leaders for the purpose of implementing new features within the ServiceNow platform
• ServiceNow Certifications : Certified Application Developer

Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $111,000 - $122,000 . However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
