Supervisory Responsibilities :

Plan and implement safety policies and procedures.Prepare, implement, and track regular safety training (PPE, Annual Refreshers, Forklift certifications, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Training).Review and update existing safety policies and procedures.Collaborate with HR to set up the new employee safety onboarding process.Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.Work with supervisors to monitor safety compliance and identify issues.Investigate accidents, develop prevention plans, implement, and monitor results.Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and tasks that could impact safety.Lead monthly safety walks and Safety Committee meetings, ensuring concerns are addressed.Oversee maintenance of First Aid and AED equipment.Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.Required Skills / Abilities :
7+ years of experience as a Safety Manager or in a similar role (industrial setting preferred).Excellent time management and organizational skills.Familiar with data analysis and safety reporting.Proficient in MS Office.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Team player with great interpersonal and communication abilities.Education and Experience :
Four-year degree is preferredOSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification.OSHA 501 Certification.4o
