As an Assistant Provision Master for cruiseships your primary responsibility is to support the ProvisionMaster in managing the procurement and inventory of food beveragesand other supplies needed on board the cruise ship.

Procurement : Assist in sourcing and purchasing supplies including food itemsbeverages cleaning products and other consumables required fordaily operations.

Inventory Management : Assist inmanaging the ships inventory by monitoring stock levels conductingregular stock takes and reconciling discrepancies.
Ensure properstorage rotation and organization of supplies to minimize wastageand maintain quality standards.
QualityControl : Work closely with the Provision Master to ensure that allsupplies meet the established quality standards and comply withrelevant regulations.
Perform regular inspections and qualitychecks to maintain highquality products and reduce the risk offoodborne illnesses.
Documentation andReporting : Maintain accurate records of all procurement activitiesincluding purchase orders invoices delivery receipts and inventoryreports.
Generate reports and provide data analysis to supportdecisionmaking processes and identify areas forimprovement.
Team Coordination : Collaboratewith other departments such as the galley (kitchen) and hoteloperations to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
Coordinate with the receiving team to ensure timely and accuratedelivery of supplies.
