Position Overview : The Sr. Financial Analyst provides high-level financial analysis and strategic financial support to the organization.
This position is responsible for developing financial forecasts, analyzing financial performance, devising and optimizing internal processes, and participating in strategic decision-making.
The Sr. Financial Analyst also provides ad-hoc financial analysis of projects and initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning, financial planning, and operational decision making.
- Analyze financial performance including sales, expenses, profits, losses, and other financial indicators.
- Perform variance analysis to measure financial performance against targets.
- Develop and optimize internal processes impacting financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports as required.
- Research and analyze new potential business initiatives.
- Assist in the development of presentations to support financial analysis.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and forecasting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, SQL
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Proficiency with Sage a plus
