Ecommerce / Marketing Assistant
General Purpose
This position supports marketing and ecommerce in a number of ways. The primary focus is content creation and email marketing, in support of growing business that is driven by the website.
Reports to :
Ecommerce & Marketing Manager
Key Objectives and Responsibilities of the Role
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns under the direction of the Ecommerce & Marketing Manager.
- Maintain email contact lists and associated segmentation fields.
- Monitor campaign impact, modify and improve.
- Develop content for blog posts and other pages throughout the website.
- Provide marketing support to sales for various events, such as the golf outing, holiday give-aways and printed literature.
Skills and Qualifications
- Two plus years experience with content writing (SEO-writing a plus).
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of written English.
- Some experience in email marketing preferred.
- The ability to work well with a team of people in various departments.
- An interest and a willingness to provide support a service mindset.
- A high school degree is required, college degree preferred.
