Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Integration Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on state-of-the-art platform services and integrated hybrid solutions, supporting our US Space Force customer.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Integrating software applications onto an OpenShift or like framework.
  • Implementing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of applications.
  • Utilizing automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, or similar tools to integrate a seamless process that takes applications from development through testing and into operations.
  • Ensuring that applications meet customer requirements using rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  • In depth integration of COTS / GOTS / FOSS applications into designated frameworks.
  • Participating in technical discussions to assist in planning future integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with the team and customer to ensure Integration, Test, and Validation processes align with organizational goals as well as customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance on containerization practices, microservices architecture, and system scalability.
  • Improve overall application integration, testing and validation processes and continuously find ways to modernize and improve performance.

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 8+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding and implementation experience in CI / CD pipelines.
  • Python skills for scripting / automation on an open framework such as MDPAF.
  • ELK Stack For Cybersecurity, SE, Test, Infrastructure assessment.
  • Linux and / or Windows development lifecycles.
  • Working experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
  • 5+ years of experience in OPIR and 3+ years in MDPAF.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

  • USSF FORGE MDPAF development and / or architecture experience.
  • OPIR mission experience.
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environments.
  • DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.
  • Experience working DoD / security development projects.
  • Integration experience in hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).
  • Active TS / SCI Clearance.

Salary Range :
