Essential Duties for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter :
- Knowledge of piping systems materials and their properties, including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Possess knowledge of pipe fabrication practices and procedures including electric, arc, and acetylene welding, brazing, and soldering
- Familiarity with threading, glued, bolted, and compression-type fittings
Requirements for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter :
- 6+ years of fire / sprinkler experience
- 2+ years of Foreman experience, preferred
- Ability to relay instructions and directions to workers
- Highly organized, systematic, and adherent to construction deadlines
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work overtime.
