Nesco Resource is hiring several Field Technicians for a full time opportunity at their client in Ansonia CT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the direction of customer furnished personnel in the assembly, trial operation, or repair of client's equipment, on both domestic and foreign locations.
  • Direct, instruct and advise customer personnel as to methods, schedules, safety practices or other matters affecting assembly, operation and servicing of equipment.
  • Work from drawings, engineering data, assembly and operating instructions.
  • Consult and advise customer supervisor (in charge of customer personnel) to check receipt of all parts and supplies.
  • Plan and arrange installation and assembly procedure or repairs, through customer's supervisor at site.
  • Considering available personnel and facilities, apply usual methods and procedures or, as required by circumstances, modify usual methods and procedures or devise new approaches to solve problems within limits of precedent and policy.
  • Contact home office for instruction on any major problems or parts, design, fit, operation or customer relations.
  • Compile regular or special reports as to progress, or concerning problems encountered.
  • Furnish any data of value in future designs or installations to the appropriate sales and engineering departments.
  • Make field trips to investigate and diagnose reported operating problems.
  • Make repairs or adjustments to correct operation of equipment or advise customer personnel as to how to make such repairs or adjustments themselves.
  • Present customer training seminars on equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
