We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time position in our Seattle, WA or Portland, OR office.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will :
Partner with technical staff in opportunity capture, research, and strategy development : Guide and mentor technical teams in identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
Oversee research efforts and develop effective strategies to enhance the West BU’s competitive edge.
Provide quantifiable metrics for success in strategic initiatives : Establish and track measurable goals and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
Ensure that all efforts are aligned with the overall business objectives.
Develop compelling, strategic, and persuasive written content : Create high-quality, persuasive content that effectively communicates the value propositions and strategic advantages of the West BU.
This includes proposals, presentations, and other strategic documents.
Engage in advanced planning and relationship building to secure larger opportunities : Implement long-term planning and relationship-building strategies with technical staff to secure significant business opportunities.
Focus on partnering with our technical staff to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Actively participate with technical staff in client activities and events to build relationships and open new opportunities : Attend and engage in industry events and networking opportunities to foster relationships and identify new business prospects.
- Collaborate with California and PNW CAMs to target and win high-impact opportunities : Work closely with CAMs in California and the Pacific Northwest to identify, target, and secure high-impact business opportunities.
Ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to business development.
Collaborate with other Sales managers, coordinators, and team members : Instill Sales best practices throughout the company and apply your experience to mentor and coach team members (, coordinators).
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Journalism preferred
- Minimum of 8 years relevant years’ experience working in the AEC Industry preferred
- Extensive experience in leading technical staff and managing opportunity capture : Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and managing the capture of new business opportunities, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives with measurable success : Experience in creating and executing strategic plans that have resulted in measurable business growth and success.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content : Exceptional ability to craft strategic and persuasive written materials that effectively communicate complex ideas and value propositions.
- Adaptability to work effectively with a variety of approaches and personalities : Flexibility and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, adapting to different communication and collaboration styles.
- Advanced planning and relationship-building skills, particularly in the Government market : Expertise in long-term planning and relationship building, with a focus on securing opportunities in the highly competitive Government sector.
- Proactive and self-sufficient, with the ability to hit the ground running : Highly motivated and capable of quickly acclimating to the role, taking initiative, and performing effectively with minimal supervision.

The salary range for this position in Seattle, WA is $90,000 - $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions.
Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market. This role is eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary bonus program.
This role may be eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
