Senior Project Manager - Mechanical (New Hyde Park, NY)

Manage large-scale mechanical projects including HVAC systems and energy-saving projects using Procore, Auto CAD, OSHA & DOB regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor operations for engineering standards, productivity, and efficiency applying risk management, Six Sigma & ISO standards, and PMP.
- Review project plans & engineering drawings, and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams for staff, workers, and clients.
- Analyze and negotiate revisions on mechanical designs based on sound engineering and cost-benefit analyses.
- Analyze process documents to determine mechanical engineering and sustainable construction methods.
- Support safety performance through the design of ergonomic solutions for different operations, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
- Optimize project efficiency using Six Sigma DMAIC methodology.
- Develop and implement quality control programs, process improvements, and technological upgrades in compliance with mechanical project technical specifications, engineering design, and relevant codes and regulations.
Qualifications :
Must have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering plus skills and knowledge in Auto CAD, Procore, Six Sigma / ISO standards, Risk Management, and PMP.
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000 / year.
