DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Electrician - Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc.
facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

Ensure Equipment Availability : By troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, youll keep equipment operational and efficient.

Maintain Orderliness : Keeping your work area clean and organized contributes to a more efficient and productive workspace.
Support Continuous Improvement : By participating in TPM teams and continuous improvement activities, youll help enhance processes, safety, and material flow.
Collaborate Effectively : Communicating well with your team and support staff helps identify and reduce manufacturing constraints and solve problems.
Minimize Environmental Impact : Recognizing the environmental impact of your work, youll strive to minimize negative effects and engage in HSE training to stay informed.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Excel in Electrical Troubleshooting : Analyze and resolve electrical control system issues efficiently to ensure systems return to proper operating conditions.
Implement Automation and Control Systems : Use available technology and programming techniques to automate manufacturing processes, identifying necessary materials and resources to optimize automation.
Develop Machine Programs : Design and implement machine programs to enhance the usage and overall operation of factory floor machines.
Apply Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing processes by implementing changes that meet functional needs and contribute to continuous improvement.
Engage in Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, processes, and material flow.
Communicate Effectively : Maintain clear and effective communication with your team and support staff to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes.
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulation
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information :
Familiar with FANUC Robotics and / or FANUC CNC Controls
Familiar with PLC Troubleshooting software (RSLOGIX or Equivalent )
Able to read and interpret Electrical Schematics and use for troubleshooting.
