Mike Keith Insurance is seeking an Account Manager to support our commercial Property and Casualty business. The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented and professional, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
The candidate should also have previous business / office experience and an existing P&C license. This role will work closely with other account managers to manage client expectations and account servicing needs.
This position would be based in our Clinton, Missouri, location with the possibility of remote or hybrid work for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate would need to be within driving distance from our Clinton, Missouri location for the initial training period, and periodic ongoing needs to support the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Assist the team with servicing a designated book of business relating to marketing, claims, and administration.
- Responds to client inquiries, documents communications, issues and resolution
- Ensure essential tasks are completed for the client at appropriate times in the service cycle.
- Maintain excellent carrier relationships to provide client advocacy at appropriate times.
- Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and / or coverage.
- Inform the team of situations that could impact account retention and / or client satisfaction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- 10 years of insurance industry experience, with some time spend in Commercial Lines Account Management
- Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Previous business / office experience required.
- Team player who takes initiative and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
- Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a detail-focused approach.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience with the transportation industry preferred.
