Immediate need for a talented Project Manager (Mid). This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid).

Pay Range : $67 - $68.57 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities :

• Relocate distribution facilities to accommodate industries and DOTS.
• Public improvement projects like a bridge. Distro relocations.
• Owns the life cycle of the project.
• Owns financials and executes financials.
• Full PM package.
• PMP certification and utility experience.
• Water utility, sewer utility, gas utility.
• Need to have a car, be fluent in English.
• Electrical construction experience.
• Field experience has been in the field.
• Can understand and make decisions doing construction in the field.
• Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
• Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
• Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
• Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
• Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.
• Project Managers Mid should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They should also be proficient in project management software and tools.
• PMP Required for all Project Management roles.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

• Key Skills : Previous role must be a Project Manager (not assistant or Coordinator).
• Previous Utility experience is a MUST as well.
• 5 to 10 years of experience working as Project Manager.
• PMP Certification is must.
• Utility, infrastructure, or construction type experience required.
• Looking for a PM that has utility experience.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience with financial forecasting, managing a budget, reviewing plans, planning, scheduling, communicating, updating records and databases.
• Proficient with MS Office and similar computer applications.
