Kelly has partnered with a premier Clothing Retail company in *Canton, MA*. and we are looking for a *Quality Control Inspector.
This is a Temp position*Pay Range : *$20 / Hr.*Shift : *Monday thru Thursday 6 : 30am-3 : 45pm and 6 : 30am to 11 : 30am on Friday RESPONSIBILITIES : Performs measurement and workmanship inspection;
verifies material, trim, accessories and construction are compliant with tech pack specification.* Performs packaging integrity compliance inspection.
- Documents data obtained during quality control activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.* Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality control and compliance activities and notifies supervisor and appropriate merchant team.
- Updates pertinent information and data into the QA inspection logs.* Maintain and organize tracking, filing and record keeping systems.
- Must be able to work overtime when business requires.* Relationships and partnerships with Merchants, Merchandise Support and Global Sourcing team.
- SKILLS : Working knowledge of PC Skills including Microsoft Office.* Proficient in measuring garments; inspect workmanship, identify defects.
- Aptitude and initiative to quickly learn new computer applications.* Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.* A motivated self starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple projects.*ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Must be able to stand, bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb stairs / ladders, and lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to push rolling carts or racks full of merchandise.* Ability to pack / unpack and handle boxes up to 40lbs.* Ability to operate nonelectric pallet jack.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles, conveyor belts, forklifts and other power equipment.
- QUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or 2-3 years’ experience in product auditing or quality control area.* A working knowledge of fabric defects, garment construction, labeling, and measuring.
