Description
The incumbent will partner with an existing Clinical Manager and the Clinical Director of the Outpatient IV Therapy program to oversee the day-to-day operations for the infusion centers located in South Portland, Scarboroughand Sanford, ME.
This position will be approximately 70% administration / supervisory and 30% clinical / direct patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience administering and managing the care of patients receiving oncology and non-oncology infusion treatment.
Current ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider card is required, Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred. For true success in this position, the selected candidate will have prior experience in a leadership / management role and the ability to partner with other disciplines, departments and health care providers as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Summary :
The Manager - Clinical Ambulatory Care is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical work flow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care.
The Clinical Manager will work with physicians, midlevel providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education : Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
2. License / Certifications : Current State of Maine RN license required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience : Five years of experience in the nursing field required. Supervisory experience preferred.
