Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Bridge Engineer with both PE and SE licensure to lead our bridge design and project management efforts.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for the structural analysis, design, and oversight of bridge projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from conception through completion.
- Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software and methodologies.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) licensure in Illinois.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in structural bridge design and project management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, CSI Bridge, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
