Duties
- Create weekly lesson plans that align with our themes
- Develop a creative program that is suitable for preschool children.
- Design lessons that help children identify colors, shapes, numbers, etc., and engage in arts and crafts.
- Organize nap and snack time, and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
- Monitor children's progress and report to parents daily.
- Possess good communication skills and be willing to work well with others.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- First Aid / CPR Training
- Ability to pass a background check
- 10 hour Virginia Preservice Training
- TB Test
- 6 months of supervised programmatic experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
