Electrician - 1st shift $40.23 / hr.

Who we are looking for :

Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work certification, is currently searching for an Electrician to be based out of Wayne, MI.

The position available is on 1st Shift, M-F 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all types of electrical equipment.

What you'll do :

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of electrical systems, including : transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
• All work must be compliant with current National Electric Code
• Ensuring Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are being met
• Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas
• All other duties as assigned

What you'll bring :

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must hold Journeyman classification
• One year manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math and verbal skills
• Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery
• Ability to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset
• Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends

• Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethic
