HOUSEKEEPING -FULLTIME
Department : Environmental Services
Reports To : ES / Laundry Manager
Shift : FIRST SHIFT . Must have flexibility to work other shifts as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Ensures that the rooms within the facility are cleaned in the proper manner.
- Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing housekeeping services.
- Clean / polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating / cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and / or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures.
- Clean windows / mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance / exit ways.
- Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc
- Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp / wet mopping, etc. ( NOTE : Ensure that appropriate caution / safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.)
- Assists in other housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assists in the laundry, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
- Must be able to positively interact with other staff, residents and families. Benefits :
