Job shop setting heavy industrial repair shop looking for experienced Millwright / Mechanic with minimum of 5 years experience and diploma from apprenticeship required.
Must know how to properly use hand tools including precision measuring devices. Must have basic math skills. Blueprint reading a must.
Must have own mechanic tools and toolbox. Must have steel toe work shoes.
Duties will include disassemble, cleaning and inspection of machine parts. Making out report comparing actual sizes and conditions to drawing specifications.
Rigging and operating overhead cranes and using forklift for loading and unloading trucks. Proper and safe operation of large capacity wheel press.
Will have to grind, deburr all parts and assemble ready for shipment after parts are repaired.
Must have High School diploma, and Millwright / mechanic Apprenticeship diploma from a trade school.
Good, on time, attendance is required.
