Description
Under general supervision, performs instructional work at Town's public swimming pool. Is responsible for safety of pool patrons and swimming lessons.
Reports to Recreation Coordinator, Operations Supervisor and / or Crew leader.
Minimum Requirements (Must meet by the closing date of the posting unless otherwise stated)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.
- Five (5) or more months of experience as a lifeguard or Aquatics Instructor.
- Possession of current license / certification from the American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification is required.
Copies of current certifications MUST be provided with your application by close of posting.
PREFERRED
Valid American Red Cross, Water Safety Instructors Certificate.
