Complete Description :
Duties :
- Greets and directs students
- Responds to emails, calls, and voicemails
- Assists students with Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) inquiries as well as Federal and State aid information and general college information
- Scans and files documents
- Performs similar or related work as required, directed, or as the situation dictates
- Assists staff as needed to promote a team effort
- Maintains confidentiality of student information based on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which provides certain rights for parents regarding their children's education records.
It protects that information from disclosure to third parties without consent.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to details
- One year of work experience in an office environment.
- Demonstrated experience of working with a variety of diverse people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a financial aid office
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
