About the Role :

The AngelList Brand & Marketing Team seeks a highly creative Senior Designer to help evolve and extend the AngelList brand.

The ideal candidate will conceptualize and create innovative digital experiences for the marketing website, expand and define our brand guidelines (including our in-house illustration style and motion principles), and develop materials for key GTM initiatives and bespoke events.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate ambiguity and is driven to deliver best-in-class creative solutions.

You will collaborate with a team of multifaceted designers, design technologists, growth marketers, product leads, engineers, data scientists, and business leads to drive the evolution of the AngelList brand across all customer touchpoints.

The Brand Design team is ultimately responsible for how AngelList shows up in the world. Leverage your digital design skills and build compelling experiences across our website, social media, our products, and events.

You will :

• Contribute to the overall evolution of the AngelList brand by conceptualizing and creating best-in-class web and digital design solutions for complex brand, marketing, and communication challenges.
• Work and deliver on high-impact, high-visibility projects and initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally, contribute to project requirements, and define project goals with your team that resonate with our customers and bridge business priorities with design output.
• Be comfortable taking various inputs, including information from stakeholders, customer insights or data, and distill into a cohesive narrative that is clear, thoughtful, and engaging.
• Help drive the brand vision through design explorations, creative learnings, and present those ideas to team members and stakeholders across the company.
• Help create end-to-end GTM content for brand and marketing initiatives, including animations, illustrations, infographics, editorial content, and more.

You have :

• 6+ years of relevant digital design experience within brand, marketing, and product, with a depth of experience in web.
• Exceptional core design skills pixel perfection, typography, layout, interaction, and visual expression.
• Experience with prototyping, motion design, and illustration.
• Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and drive momentum.
• Ability to think through complex design challenges and navigate ambiguity.
• Experience with evolving and maintaining design systems.
• Ability to quickly iterate, share ideas, and receive feedback.
• Be comfortable working with engineers in technical environments, bringing a deep knowledge of both web and mobile client-side development processes.
• Ability to leverage customer-centric insights to create work that meets business goals.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership to build and implement strategic go-to-market plans.
• A bias towards transparency and communication plus a generous dose of humility.
• A deep love for startups.

AngelList has offices in two hub cities : San Francisco and New York City that you can choose to work from. We’re focused on hiring within these hubs, and people within 1 hour travel distance of the hub offices are expected to come into the office twice per week.
