Position : Substance Use Disorder Program Coordinator
Type : Full-Time, salary
Overview : Apple Rehab is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of our substance use disorder programs.
This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of existing programs, providing ongoing support to staff, and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals and opioid treatment programs (OTPs).
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and administrative skills, with a background in nursing or social work.
Experience in substance use disorder management is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities :
Program Administration : Manage the daily operations of substance use disorder programs across all Apple Rehab facilities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate documentation of program activities and outcomes.
Coordinate with facility administrators and directors of nursing to integrate program initiatives into daily operations.
- Staff Coordination : Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in substance use disorder programs.Schedule and conduct regular meetings with staff to review program progress and address any issues.
- Training and Education : Organize and conduct training sessions for staff on substance use disorder protocols and best practices.
Ensure staff are well-informed and competent in handling substance use disorder cases.
Communication and Liaison : Serve as the primary point of contact for substance use disorder-related inquiries and communication within the organization.
Foster effective communication between staff, residents' families, and external partners.
Hospital and OTP Collaboration : Establish and maintain strong working relationships with hospitals and opioid treatment programs.
Coordinate the transition of residents from hospitals or OTPs to Apple Rehab facilities.Facilitate communication and collaboration between Apple Rehab, hospitals, and OTPs to ensure continuity of care.
Customer Service : Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, hospitals, and OTPs.
Address concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor program performance and outcomes, providing regular reports to the VP of Clinical Services.
Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or higher qualification in Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Experience in substance use disorder management is beneficial but not required.
