Rate : $38-$42 per hour W2

Description : This department needs a Business Analyst Consultant. In this position, the consultant will be part of the Federal Reporting team and will facilitate discovery, visioning, leaning, design, and analysis of current and new systems.
The analyst will document, plan, and work to accomplish team goals, lead groups in performing a variety of requirement gathering and agile / hybrid iterative process refinement at the program and portfolio management level;
a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities / Skills :
- Negotiate with customers; emphasis on business process and user interface
- Review requirements; emphasis on functionality and system qualities
- Train and mentor other Analysts
- Mediate between Business and other Analysts
- Conduct meetings with Business SMEs and document business workflow and processes
- Analyze workflow and recommend improvements
- Document issues with processes, applications, automation
- Maintain documentation up to date and distribute to project team members
- Gather requirements, requests, and meet with team members to discuss solutions
- Negotiate timelines with Business and Development Teams
- Follow up frequently with Business SMEs on progress
- Address questions and act as liaison between IT and Business
Qualifications :
- Must have at least 5+ years of BA experience
- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies
- Experience in the creation of detailed business requirements and business processes to meet the requirements of the next generation CCWIS application
- Experience with Data Quality and planning and testing of automated CCWIS processes
- Understanding of legacy Batch systems
- Understanding of the technical and business interdependencies that will exist between the legacy system and the modernized and upgraded application
