Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Outpatient General Pediatrics

Work Schedule : 90% FTE, Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Be part of something remarkable Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and their families.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to :

• Participate as a care team member in managing a panel of patients in partnership with our primary care physicians.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health conditions and promote wellness in our outpatient primary care pediatric clinic.
• Provide counseling and education about common pediatric illnesses and promote wellness with patients and families. Education : Minimum - If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner* :
• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.

These may include the following : Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine. If Physician Assistant* :

• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active PA board certification All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have* : Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice.
