Lead Software Engineer (C++) Algo Trading Fund $800k - Hybrid
Overview :
Lead Software Engineer tasked with building a new state-of-the-art alternative trading system servicing a highly profitable Algorithmic Trading desk, that generated over $300m profit in 2021.
The Role :
This is an entirely Greenfield build and requires a hands-on Architect, equally happy to work as an individual contributor as with management.
You will be facing off with the business, leading a team of 5 Developers, and working closely with the Lead PM and Traders, to build a bespoke in-house alternative trading system, in C++ 20
Responsibilities :
- Employ rigorous and disciplined practices to produce ultra-low latency trading software and ancillary applications where correctness and performance are critical.
- Optimize code, hardware, and network technology to realize Tick-To-Orders (TTOs) are among the best in the industry.
- Improving existing system component performance by refining the underlying algorithms, methods of processing, and identifying systems bottlenecks.
Requirements :
- Exceptional C++ programming skills
- 5 years+ working on Automated Trading Systems
- Quantitative / reasoning skills
- CompSci or STEM degree from Top University
Hybrid :
Very flexible, 2 days per week (Maximum) in Manhattan Office - some weeks can be fully remote!
