This position is for a Manager, FP&A in the Mission Systems Operations Finance organization. This role will support the Mission Systems Supply Chain Organization.

This role provides a great opportunity to network across our Operations organization and Mission Systems business. Daily interaction with Manufacturing, and other Finance functions allows each analyst to influence perspectives and create value.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills and is detail oriented.

What YOU Will Do : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

This analyst will work closely with Mission Systems Operations leaders in managing Supply Chain costs in SAP and is responsible for reconciling, understanding and confirming financial data to support the monthly closing and quarterly forecast processes.

The position also requires the ability to understand how Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Collins Aerospace finance policies apply to current business situations.

  • Execute financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts to support the Mission Systems Supply Chain budgets and Manufacturing Costs.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports to develop observations and recommendations.
  • Prepare Supply Chain / Manufacturing budgets monthly forecast and annual operating plan, ensuring alignment to approved budget.
  • Review Head Count and Utilization monthly.
  • Present to Leadership teams financial data on actuals and forecast for their cost centers.
  • Review Purchase Price Variance for reporting to Leadership on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.
  • Communicate cost risk and opportunities to the business unit, along with internal communication to Manufacturing and Finance leadership teams.
  • Development of the annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range plan (LRP) commitments.
  • Utilize HP, SAP, Oracle, Workday, for budget analysis.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
