Toastique Austin (Central) -
BOH members are an incredibly important part of the Toastique team. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for dishwashing, ensuring items are continuously ready for use as needed, and ensuring all areas of the cafe are always clean.
You will also assist with Juicing and elsewhere in the cafe as needed. We are currently looking for expereinced dishwashers to work Part -time for a variety of shifts.
The position is open to start training immediately. MUST have prior experience as a dishwasher in a fast caual or full service restaurant.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Washing dishes, utensils and other kitchen items ensuring they are clean and dry and putting everything back where it belongs
- Putting away deliveries using FIFO (First-IN, First-OUT)
- Staying organized and prioritizing tasks
- Frequently checking trash, recycling, and composting bin levels and removing them to the appropriate area when full
- FOH duties including :
- checking for cleanliness and cleaning all tables, benches and rail surfaces
- cleaning all glass surfaces both inside and outside the cafe
- cleaning up after customer spills / accidents
- checking trash, recycling and composting bins and emptying as necessary so there is no overflow
- restocking utensils
- sweeping / mopping all floors throughout the shift
- BOH duties including :
- checking restrooms frequently - cleaning and restocking as needed
- checking all trash receptacles for the need to empty and removing trash to the appropriate location
- keeping all BOH floors, walls and surfaces clean and sanitized
- assisting with other closing tasks as assigned (closing shifts)

Pay : $15.00 per hour
