WhatYoullDo :
Asa Speech Pathologist youwill :
- AssessandDiagnose : Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations forschoolagedchildren.
- DevelopIndividualizedPlans : Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to eachchilds uniqueneeds.
- TherapeuticIntervention : Provide oneonone and group therapy sessions utilizing evidencebasedpractices.
- Collaboratewith Educators andFamilies : Work closely with teachers parents and other professionals tosupport each childs communicationgoals.
- MonitorProgress : Regularly evaluate and document students progress adjustinginterventions as necessary to ensure continuousimprovement.
- AdvocateforStudents : Serve as a resource and advocate for children with speech andlanguage disorders within the schoolcommunity.
Requirements
- Mastersdegree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accreditedprogram.
- CurrentGeorgia state license as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist (oreligibility forlicense).
- Certificateof Clinical Competence (CCC) from the AmericanSpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA)preferred.
- Priorexperience working with schoolaged children and formulating IEPs ishighlydesirable.
- Strongcommunication organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability towork effectively as part of a multidisciplinaryteam.
