Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

BAE Systems is hiring for a Semiconductor Process Technician.

The qualified candidate will perform, with minimum or no supervision, a limited variety of routine duties required to process production lots in the Wafer Fabrication Area.

Responsibilities :

• Process production lots per FCS through specified process steps in a timely manner.
• Ensure that equipment is ready and qualified for production.
• Perform necessary calibration and test runs before committing equipment to production lots.
• Track production lots in PROMIS or / and in other records.
• Follow ESH rules and regulations; maintain hazard free work environment; follow Clean Room Practice. Communicate effectively both verbal and written with other employees.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Typically a High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Photolithography, Wet Etch, Plating, On wafer Test, Backside Mount, Grind, Demount experience is preferred, but will train the right person with semiconductor / wafer fab experience in other areas of the fab.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $47960 - $81510

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
