Genesis of Schaumburg is looking for Automotive Mechanic Technicians to join our growing team!
Lube tech - $17 - $20 depending on experience
Apprentice - $20 - $25 depending on experience
Journeyman - $30 - $45 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Requirements for Eligibility :
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clean driving record
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- 19 years of age or older.
