We're looking for someone interested in countless subjects, always plugged into news and social trends, incredibly resourceful, a strong writer and researcher, with good media instincts.
What are the responsibilities of the job? The Content Strategist-Outreach Manager role requires the ability to produce and pitch stories in a dozen different media verticals with authority and care.

Job responsibilities include generating ideas for content to be produced by our team and pitched to the media. Supporting the research, data analysis and writing that goes into content production.
Finally, promoting that content to the media via email outreach.
Our Content Strategist-Outreach Managers are expected to project manage several content campaigns at once, while staying on-budget and on-time, and successfully earn coverage via direct media outreach.
What are the requisite skills & experience? The applicant should have a minimum of 3-4 years experience working in a creative journalism or marketing role that involves producing content and telling stories.
We're looking for someone who understands media appetites and who is able to generate content that attracts attention online from general assignment, lifestyle, niche, and industry news publications.
The position requires close attention to detail in writing, editing and research, as well as strong analytical skills. Candidates should be comfortable analyzing complex data sets, accurately sourcing data, and effectively synthesizing information.
Strong project management skills, with ability to be both creative and organized are critical for success.
Preferred, but not required : Experience pitching the media and / or public relations, journalism background, and Adobe Suite (graphic design).
