Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Program Analyst to support our mission work at our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD customer site.
The selected candidate will have responsibility in the following areas :
Responsibilities
- Interpret information, perform analysis and provide recommendations, guidance, and course of action (COA) to division leadership
- Provide financial management guidance on program budget; make execution recommendations for execution to Division Leaders in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures.
- Planning, budgeting, and executing multi-appropriation (DoD) budgets at a Division Level
- Analyze financial and / or budget requirements covering all aspects of resource management programs.
- Apply extensive technical knowledge in analyzing financial management systems and in identifying and resolving complex issues related to functional financial areas.
- Analyzes data, compiles facts and information, and provides technical advice to customers.
- Utilize automated systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to provide financial data collection and execution.
- Assignments may involve developing resource documents, conducting studies to compare current findings with historical data, monitoring an organization's resource allocations.
- Monitor resource allocations for the organization.
- Perform budget analysis of financial programs with high visibility; consideration of long-range program goals and objectives.
- Analyzes interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity affecting major administrative programs / projects of an agency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Mid-Senior Financial Analyst with DoD financial experience required
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or a similar field, or equivalent hands on experience.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Software especially Access and Excel.
- Excellent Oral and written communication.
- Knowledge of GFEBS or similar government accounting software is required.
- Active DOD Top Secret or higher clearance.
