General Accountabilities :
- Provides protection for the casino, all employees, guests, and company assets.
- Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of fills and credits.
- Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the appropriate personnel.
- Supports and maintains the Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and promotes outstanding guest service.
- Assist with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
- Always promote safety and confidentiality.
- Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with Margaritaville’s mandated requirements, which include but are not limited to, gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
- Through alertness, diligence, specified procedures, and proactive attention to potential danger and security risks, the Security Officer shall protect our guests, our property, and our staff from harm or loss.
- Patrol, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned Security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety, and security of our guests.
- Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.

Qualifications :
- High School Diploma / GED; or six months to one year of work experience in customer service; previous security and corrections experience a plus.
- Must be able to Obtain a LA Gaming License and .
- Ability to Stand, bend, lift, walk, and stop throughout duration of shift.
- Excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded / noisy environment.
