Theyhave an immediately need an experienced Personal Injury Attorneywith 13 years of PI experience to join our dynamic and growingfirm!

Thefirm is growing and we re looking for an empathic experiencedpersonal injury attorney to help our clients find justice andcompensation for their injuries.

You ll handle the case file fromstart to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legalprofessionals. You should have excellent credentials a minimum of13 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trialcase experience and an authentic passion for helping people.

Responsibilities :

Handle personal injury case files from start tofinish

Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal adviceto prospective clientsaccordingly

Draft review and modify claims motions discovery responses demandletters pleadings subpoenas memorandums and other legaldocuments

Research case law and premises liability and gather insurancepolicies medical expenses medical records and other evidencerelevant to thecase

Communicate with clients expert witnesses insurance companyadjusters supporting witnesses and medical providers to gatherinformation

Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients behalf whenappropriate

Represent the client at hearings trials mediations depositions andlitigation

Document and update the status of all case files in the casemanagementsystem

Manage a team of personal injury paralegals legal assistants casemanagers litigation paralegals and legalsecretary

Demonstrateexceptional legal research and writingskills

Excellentverbal and written communicationskills

Strongorganizational problemsolving and analytical skills; able to managepriorities andworkflow

Stronginterpersonal skills and ability to work within a teamenvironment

Abilityto effectively communicate with clients staff and teammembers

Strongcommunication persuasion and negotiation skills to represent clientand company interests in litigationsituations

Bilingualin Spanish is aplus

Experience&Qualifications :

Bachelor s degree and a J.D. degree isrequired

Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license topractice law ismandatory

13 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trialexperience in medical malpractice personal injury wrongful death orcivil litigation practice areas isneeded

A good understanding of personal injury law / tort law medicalterminology wrongful death civil and family law and medicalmalpractice isdesired

Superb drafting research negotiation and communication skills arepreferred

Must be computerproficient
