The Nurse Recruitment & Workforce Strategist is responsible for recruitment administration focused on attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent experienced registered nurses, new-to-practice nurses and advance practice nurses who embrace TUHS mission and values.
In this strategic role, the Nurse Recruiter will partner with Nursing Leadership and HR Talent Management in the development and implementation of a comprehensive nursing recruitment plan that supports the organizational goals, and current and future workforce needs.
Specific responsibilities include the development / implementation of recruitment plans, sourcing / screening applicants, branding / marketing nursing opportunities, pipeline strategies in partnerships with schools, training and community programs, relationship building and adherence to federal and state employment law.
In addition, this role will serve as an ambassador to newly hired nurses, providing support through the pre-boarding and onboarding process.
Education
Bachelors Degree : in Nursing (Required)
Experience
5 years experience in recruitment (Required)
Experience in hospital nursing (Required)
License / Certifications
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
PHR - Prof in Human Resources (Preferred) or SPHR - Sr Prof in Human Resources (Preferred)
