ZF Chassis Modules is your perfect choice!About the Team : The ZF Tuscaloosa Maintenance team supports the Tuscaloosa plant by maintaining company standards in safety, security, quality, and productivity, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.

What you can look forward to as an Maintenance Technician : Responsible for repairs and troubleshooting of production equipment and building systems to maintain facility in peak operating condition.

Major systems include, but not limited to; Mechanical Devices, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, HVAC, Fire protection, Electrical Distribution, Electrical Controls, Air Compressors, Conveyors, Plumbing, Nutrunners, Gages, Security, Lube Oil DistributionInspection of equipment and assembly processes to prevent damage and / or determine root cause of malfunction or damage to equipment or components.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs using hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, test devices and precision measurement tools.

Reading blueprints, schematics, logic diagrams, maintenance manuals and catalogs to install, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Troubleshoot, de-bug and program PLC5, SLC500, Micrologic Controllers, Siemans PLCs and Variable Speed Drives.Performs preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.

Installation and hook-up of equipment, machinery, and devices.Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.Performs related tasks as needed.
