Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Senior IT Applications Engineer at our office in West Chester, Ohio. The Applications Developer will be programming systems for use in the Manufacturing / Outside Processing space that support day-to-day operations.
This position also requires the ability to troubleshoot issues and address concerns while identifying ways to improve the application(s) in a holistic manner.
Summary of Responsibilities :
Develop, Enhance and Support the Outside Processing Inventory Control System application code.
Adapt a clear understanding of current business process and help incorporate IT solutions accordingly.
Communicate support issues and resolution directly with the development team lead and keep management aware of all business impacts.
Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the systems specifications.
Communicates design, functional, and technical specifications to development team lead.
Works with the development team lead to set priorities and to plan activity.
Provides solution planning and estimating of programs and projects as requested and discussed with the team lead or management.
Complete tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.
