Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Architect with 14 to 16 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data warehousing ETL and cloud technologies.
This role requires proficiency in Informatica Cloud SQL and Unix Shell Scripting. The candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of data integration solutions ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica Cloud and other ETL tools.
Oversee the development and maintenance of data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
Provide technical expertise in scheduling basics and external schedulers to ensure timely data processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
Develop and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction transformation and loading processes.
Utilize Unix Shell Scripting to automate data integration tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Implement and manage cloud data warehousing solutions to support scalable and flexible data storage.
Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows to ensure high availability and performance.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and cloud computing to drive innovation.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies to protect sensitive information.
Contribute to the overall data strategy by identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Qualifications
Possess a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Demonstrate proficiency in Informatica Cloud CLI and Informatica Cloud Scheduler.
Exhibit strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
Have experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation and task scheduling.
Show expertise in data integration and ETL processes.
Nice to have experience in Asset Management Operations domain.
Be familiar with cloud data warehousing solutions and data lake concepts.
Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Certifications Required
Informatica Certified Professional Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
The annual salary for this position is between $ 140,000 - 155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
