Job Description :
- The Warehouse Material Handler utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks, or trains and within the storage facility.
- Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.
- Being a Warehouse Material Handler has knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a particular field.
- May record flow information of materials and products.
- In addition, Warehouse Material Handler relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Requires a high school diploma.
- Typically reports to supervisor or manager.
- Being a Warehouse Material Handler works under moderate supervision.
- Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
- Working as a Warehouse Material Handler typically requires - years of related experience, or may need years of experience with additional specialized training and / or certification.
