Job Description :

GliaCell is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.

S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Responsibilities :

• Make complex datasets easily accessible and searchable.
• Develop repeatable solutions to ingest, parse, search, and display customer datasets.
• Utilize a MODERN tech stack to produce a responsive user experience.

Key Requirements :

To be considered for this position you must have the following :

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience and a BSDegree in Computer Science (or related)OR 11+ years with no degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Node, C++, or C
• Document-based stores (i.e. MongoDB, OpenSearch, etc.)
• Understands design concepts and pros / cons of storing data in document formats
• Maven / Git

Desired Skills :

• AWS Service (i.e. Lambda’s, Step functions, S3, etc.)
• RESTful Service development
• Apache Spark or Apache MapReduce

Location : Annapolis Junction, Columbia, Hanover, or Laurel / Partial Telework

Salary Range : The salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects.
