Job Description
The Financial Analyst will provide value-added analysis and provide insight to Biltmore's leadership to drive quantitative decision making.
As an integral member of the team, this position will be expected to acquire a strong understanding of Biltmore's operational processes, chart of accounts, and reporting methodologies.
The position will assist in performance analysis and reporting related to treasury operations. Analysis will include monthly cash and liquidity data, performance metrics and KPI's.
This position will require a high level of expertise in Excel and adaptability in using multiple data sources and applications.
The Financial Analyst will cross-train and collaborate with Biltmore's Financial Planning & Analysis team as needed for enhanced analysis and to support operational needs.
Essential Job Duties :
back up support as directed to include :
- Monitoring daily cash transaction and execute banking transactions as directed
- Creating, modifying, and communicating cash planning models forecasts
- Reconcile cash transactions
- Provide training and support for Biltmore teams
2. Provide monthly cash and spending analysis to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
3. Assist with analysis and trends as directed by leadership.
4. Work to develop / maintain key treasury performance indicators and trend analysis with recommendations to assist in improving efficiencies within the treasury operation.
5. Build system generated reports & dashboards (Trovata, Power BI) to support treasury operations and treasury decision making.
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports required for compliance and to support Biltmore's treasury operations.
7. Prepare ad hoc financial reports and financial analysis as assigned; providing accurate and concise analytical commentary.
8. Leverage technology and systems to improve processes and increase efficiency in Treasury processes.
9. Assist with the long-term treasury planning and continuous improvement of treasury operations.
10. Assist with administration of Captive Insurance Program.
11. Other tasks as requested that support Biltmore leadership financial decision-making as assigned.
Qualifications :
1. Four-year accredited college degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field required.
2. At least three (3) years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably within corporate level Treasury operations.
3. Proven ability to organize large data sets for trend and variance analysis.
4. Advanced / Expert level proficiency in Excel experience preferred.
5. Experience working with Trovata, Adaptive Planning, Workday, and analytical tools such as SQL, Microsoft Power BI, data visualization tools and other data and reporting tools a plus.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear actionable way.

Physical Requirements :
1. Primarily working in an office setting.
2. For remote workers, travel to / from Asheville on occasion would be required.
