Title : Maintenance Mechanic

Salary : $27-36 an hour
Must have : Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Shift : 1st Shift M-F 6 : 55AM-3 : 00PM
Job Duties :
- Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic theories and procedures in maintaining and repairing blow mold, injection, auxiliary, and support equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of machines and processes for blow mold, injection, drying systems, mechanical systems, and construction to analyze, set up, and maintain equipment for safe and continuous operation.
Read electrical schematics, identify symbols, and understand control circuits with a reasonable degree of competency, including troubleshooting PLC program logic.
- Competently troubleshoot electrical circuits with reasonable accuracy.
- Install PLCs, change motors, install relays and starters, and install control circuits.
- Experience in designing and / or assembling electrical panels and circuits.
- Rewire and ensure proper placement of power and thermocouple wires to base-mounted connections with speed and accuracy, avoiding damage to any components of the manifold assembly.
- Read hydraulic schematics, identify symbols, and understand control circuits with a reasonable degree of competency.
- Competently troubleshoot hydraulic circuits with reasonable accuracy.
- Repair, change, or upgrade the status of equipment.
Qualifications :
- Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or graduate of vocational-tech program preferred.
- Completed all requirements of Maintenance Mechanic I

- Lift, push, or pull up to 1000 pounds 50 feet using a hydraulic hand jack (equivalent to a static push / pull of approximately 70 pounds).
- Frequently lift a maximum weight of 35 pounds from the ground to 6 feet overhead.
- Occasionally lift up to 45 pounds from the ground to 6 feet overhead.
- Frequently carry up to 60 pounds for 10 feet.
- Stand and walk for up to 11 hours per shift on a concrete floor.
- Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, including weekends and holidays.
- Bend, turn / twist, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, reach out and up, turn wrist, grasp, pinch, and perform finger manipulations .
