Responsibilities :
- Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs
- Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
- Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Assist in transporting residents as needed
- Provide companionship to residents
- Ensure the safety of our residents
- Assist with motivating residents to help keep them active and engaged
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Requirements
- Must hold a current certification and CNA license in Maryland
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to remain calm and patient with residents
- Ability to listen attentively is essential
- Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
- A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
- Ability to show empathy and compassion while interacting with residents to increase their comfort level

Job Type : Full-time (12-hour day shifts)
Salary range : $18.00 - $23.00 based on years of experience
