Required : Automotive payroll experience of 3 years or more

Pay Scale : Base hourly rate ranges between $22.50 - $29.00

Expectations :
- Minimum 2 years experience in payroll
- ADP Workforce now a PLUS
- Automotive PAYROLL Experience A REQUIREMENT
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver's license
- Positive attitude and demeanor
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals
- Applicable manufacturers certifications
- Ability to comply with all Dealership policies, procedures, standards, and deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Verify attendance, hours worked, and Compiles payroll data such as hours worked; sales volume, bonuses, and commissions;
monies to be withheld for taxes; employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans; etc., from time sheets and other records.
- Computes wages and deductions, reviews for accuracy and posts to payroll records.
- Prepares and issues paychecks.
- Keeps records of leave pay i.e. : PTO, Sick, protected leaves of absence.
- Distribute and collect timecards each pay period.
- Prepares / files all hiring and termination paperwork including COBRA letters.
- Processes all employee insurance forms and insurance payments in coordination with office manager.
- Process prospective employees with prescreening process.
- Process employee information with onboarding.
- Maintain employment records.
- Audit employee, benefit, and payroll files.
- Understands employee payroll issues, and communicates solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully.
- Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.
- Process garnishments and wage withholding orders.
- Other tasks as assigned.
