Job Description
We are looking for a Paid Social Video Creator working across multiple verticals and domains - primarily in the Health, Insurance, and Financial Service verticals.
The position will be reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, and the successful candidate will also work closely with the in-house media buying and publishing teams.
The main function of the role is to create engaging videos using UGC, stock videos, and motion graphics that drive value for Forbes Marketplace and its partners across multiple verticals and product offerings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ideating on video creative strategies for each offer, coordinating content production, editing videos, and iterating concepts based on campaign performance.
This role is fundamental to business success, ensuring we can efficiently utilize our advertising spend across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to help Forbes Marketplace leverage and scale our offers on paid social channels across multiple verticals and brands.
Responsibilities :
- Craft paid social video content tailored to resonate with diverse audiences across multiple verticals such as Health, Insurance, and Financial Services.
- Ability to quickly understand the core value propositions of a product offering and leverage those insights to develop high-quality video scripts for paid social channels.
- Ensure all paid social videos produced adhere to brand guidelines and messaging while remaining consistent with what is known to work best on Facebook & TikTok in the performance marketing environment.
- Work closely with in-house design teams and / or external agencies to produce high-quality video content, along with being able to film / source videos independently where appropriate.
- Ability to edit footage that quickly delivers advertising messages to social media audiences while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Be flexible in your work schedule to accommodate meetings and communications with a global team. Workgroup time zones extend from IST (India) to Pacific Standard (PST) USA.
- Comfortable with interpreting data provided by the team to iterate and improve on video creative performance for each offer.
- Work with the Director Of Marketing and the paid social buying team to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a video creator, preferably with experience in managing and delivering videos from ideation to delivery in a paid advertising environment.
- A portfolio of work showcasing delivered videos for past performance marketing, e-commerce, affiliate, or lead generation campaigns on Facebook and / or TikTok.
- Strong understanding of paid social advertising principles, language, and effective engagement strategies specific to video ads.
- Ability to adapt video style to match different brand voices - across various different publishers.
- A high level of attention to detail is vital. The videos created will have high visibility on recognizable brand pages and need to adhere to brand and partner guidelines.
- Proficiency in video editing on platforms such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with project management systems such as Trello and Airtable is a plus.
- You must be a good communicator, confident to communicate effectively with varying audiences and seniority.
- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage your own time effectively to ensure the required video requests are completed in a timely manner.
