Job Description
The Program Manager of Customized Employment will manage the range of services that provide meaningful employment opportunities
for the individuals we serve.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Hire, train and supervise all program staff
- Assess and match staff with clients that results in high quality of service delivery
- Coordinate staff scheduling for job site coverage and training
- Collaborate with and support The Moore Center's Community Partners and employers to ensure employment success for our clients.
Collaborate with and support other Community Based Services (CBS) managers, particularly regarding shared
responsibilities, e.g. staffing, transportation, and van care
Ensure that program operations, budgetary needs, billing units, documentation, client and staff schedules, and
program activities are in compliance with state, federal and Agency regulations and policies
- Coordinate and implement weekly schedules and program activities for clients
- Act as designated trainer for staff in collaboration with Behavior Specialist on behavior plans for clients, as needed
- Perform annual Personal Development Plans and monitor goals and staff development on ongoing basis
- Attend individual service agreement and other client meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Develop and write measurable and achievable goals for clients
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of essential client information to ensure delivery of quality services
- Teamwork, regular attendance in the office, and face-to-face interaction are essential job functions
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services (or related field) preferred
- 3 years' experience in Human Services field (developmental services preferred) with 1 year supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Criminal, motor vehicle, and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services background checks that meet agency standards
- Provide adequate transportation for clients, which includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license
and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100,000 / 300,000
Proven ability to adapt to changing environments, from emotionally charged situations to highly structured
professional settings
All staff must adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Additionally, staff are required to
maintain criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel
and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and maintaining personal auto
insurance of $100,000 / 300,000.
