Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer orApplications Engineer to join our team. In this role you will workclosely with both our production team and customers to developinnovative manufacturing solutions focusing on CNC programmingdiamond tooling and precision machining of brittle materials.

Yourexpertise will drive process improvements and ensure the highestquality standards are met across all projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop implement and optimize CNC programs formachining brittle materials such as quartz ceramic silicon andsilicon carbide.

Utilize Mastercam software for thecreation and modification of CNC machining programs.

Oversee and optimize the CNC grinding process to ensure precisionand quality in manufactured components.

Collaborate withproduction teams to ensure accurate application of diamond toolingin the machining of hard and brittle materials.

Act as atechnical expert for customers providing guidance on the bestmachining practices for complex designs.

Troubleshootmanufacturing challenges implementing corrective actions to improveproduct quality and production efficiency.

Work closelywith R&D and engineering teams to develop new applications andrefine existing manufacturing processes.

Stay current onindustry trends technologies and materials to continuously enhanceproduct development and machining capabilities.

Trainand mentor production staff in CNC machining techniques andequipment operation.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications :

Proficient in CNC programming with a strong understanding ofmachine setups and operations.

Recent expertise inMastercam for CNC programming and toolpath creation.

Extensive experience with CNC grinding for precise material removalin brittle materials.

Knowledge of working with brittlematerials such as quartz ceramic silicon silicon carbide and toolsteel.

Familiarity with diamond tooling for precisionmachining of hard materials.

Desired experience inapplications engineering developing solutions for manufacturingprocesses.

Strong problemsolving skills with a focus onprecision and quality.

Excellent communication skills tointerface with both internal teams and externalcustomers.

PreferredQualifications :

5 years ofexperience in CNC machining particularly with brittlematerials.

Experience working in a highprecisionmanufacturing environment.
