Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to begin offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri.

Our 102-provides a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

The Intake Worker / Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and / or referring inquiry calls.

Assists Admissions staff with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Work with Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : High school diploma required. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Human-related field.

Experience : Experience working in a hospital Intake department or business office preferred.

Licensure : C.N.A. highly desirable.

Additional Requirements : Successful completion of CPR, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation. Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation.

May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
